Usage of a restricted number of activities
Revision date:Description
Use a limited number of activities in process models to ensure clarity and comprehensibility.
This rule helps ensure that long, coherent activity sequences are modeled in subprocesses. To comply with this rule, a process must not use more than a specified number of activities. In Signavio Process Manager, you can restrict the number of activities in a diagram in the ‘Define modeling conventions’ settings, located in the ‘Setup’ menu of the Signavio Explorer.
If this rule is violated, you should group an appropriate number of activities in a linked subprocess.
